THOMAS W. DAWSON, DDS
Doctor Thomas Dawson graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch in 1974. An avid supporter of education, Doctor Dawson immediately saw the need to further his education. He quickly completed 500 hours of continuing education to become a Fellow in the Academy of General Education. He was a frequent student at the L.D. Pankey Institute – a non-profit graduate education program for dentists worldwide. After completing the Continuum he was asked to return as an instructor and served in almost every position in the organization for a number of years.
SUSAN R SHEPHERD, RDA
Susan Shepherd has been a Registered Dental Assistant for 25 years and has worked with Doctor Dawson for the last 21 years. Together, they form a clinical team that is unmatched in the industry. Susan is originally from South Carolina. She joined the Air Force in 1995 where she received dental assistant training. Susan has reorganized two offices to meet the requirements and standards of electronic medical records and is the Vice President of Development and Technology for Centergistix Software. As the co-developer of the Centergistix platform, she has worked alongside Doctor Dawson to create the vital tool that empowers implant teams to seamlessly manage their cases from start to finish.
Melanie Paulson, RDH, BS

Melanie attended Baylor University for 2 years of pre-dental hygiene courses, then completed her dental hygiene education at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in 1984, graduating with a BS in Dental Hygiene, She has mainly worked in general dentistry practices throughout most of her 38 years, but has 5 years experience in a periodontal practice. She continues to be very passionate about dental hygiene and enjoys the one-on-one time with patient care.
Melanie is married and has 3 grown kids, and 3 grandkids that all live in the metroplex. She loves to spend time with them as often as possible.
